Rohit Jagtap built the first part of his career inside some of India's most demanding brand environments: working on national brands like Tata Sky, Red FM and Meru, among others. Not as an observer, but in the rooms where brand decisions were made, where media was planned, and where campaigns were fought for and budgets were defended.
That experience revealed something most agency founders never learn: the gap between a brand being built correctly and incorrectly almost always comes from fragmentation. A designer who doesn't know the media plan. A media buyer who doesn't understand the brand strategy. Every handoff is where brands lose coherence.
The name carries the intent: roots that spread, deep in strategy and wide in capability. Jagroots Brand Solutions opened in Mumbai in January 2015 with a clear mandate: to be the agency that handles everything a brand needs, from first identity to full market presence, without the client coordinating between multiple vendors.
The first years were about proving the model. Brand identities, packaging, campaigns, brand launches. Clients across hospitality, retail, wellness and agriculture. Every engagement built the same way: understand the business first, build the brand second, execute across every medium third.
